The Los Angeles Dodgers announced on Sunday that they will be without one of their huge offseason signings, right-handed starter Yoshinobu Yamamoto with a strained rotator cuff after undergoing testing.
Yamamoto left Saturday's game after just two innings with tricep tightness.
He has been placed on the 15-day injured list.
Yamamoto signed a 12 year, $325 million contract in the offseason, and so far is
6-2, with a 3.00 ERA, and 10.4 K's/9 in his first season in the major leagues.
