White Sox Make History

The Chicago White Sox lost their MLB modern-era (1901) record 121st game of the season on Friday, losing 4-1 to the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park, in Detroit, Michigan.

The loss breaks the 1962 New York Mets 40-120 record for most losses in the modern-era (1901).

The most losses of all time belongs to the 1899 Cleveland Spiders with a 20-134 record.

Chicago became the first team since the 1899 Spiders to have three separate losing streaks of 12 plus games in a single season.
