The Chicago White Sox continued to extend their franchise long losing streak over the weekend, extending it to 20 games with their 13-7 loss to the Minnesota Twins on Sunday.
The 20 game losing streak ties them for third in Major League Baseball history with the Expos (1969), Athletics (1943 & 19160 and the Boston Americans (1906).
On Monday, they start a three-game series in Oakland against the Athletics. If they start the series with a loss, they will tie the 1988 Baltimore Orioles for second all-time with 21 straight losses. If the A's can pull off a sweep, the White Sox will tie the 1961 Philadelphia Phillies with the longest losing streak in MLB history at 23 straight games.
