The San Antonio Spurs announced that All-Star center Victor Wembanyama is expected to miss the rest of the season after being diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis in his right shoulder.
The Spurs are optimistic that Wembanyama will be fully recovered in time for next season as they believe the blood clot is an isolated condition.
Wembanyama was averaging 24.3 points, 11 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 3.8 blocks over 46 games this season.
