At the end of the business day on Monday, the U.S. stock markets closed for one of the worst days for the market in nearly two years.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 2.6% (1,034 points) from Monday's opening. The S & P dropped 3% (160 points) and the Nasdaq Composite lost 3.4% (576 points).
With a weak July jobs report, shrinking manufacturing, horrible forecasts from big tech companies and other corporate outlooks, unemployment rising, global unrest, and other economic indicators are triggering many to fear a US recession.
