Tua Tagovailoa Suffers Another Concussion

Tua Tagovailoa, quarterback for the NFL’s Miami Dolphins has suffered another concussion during the Thursday night football game against the Buffalo Bills.

This is the third diagnosed concussion Tagovailoa has reaped in two years. He endured two diagnosed concussions in the 2022 season, although, many believe he may have had a third that year when he suffered another head injury.

There is speculation as to if Tagovailoa should retire for health and safety reasons.

Head Coach Mike McDaniel said after the game, “Right now, [it] is more about getting a proper procedural evaluation and taking it one day at a time… The furthest thing from my mind is what is the timeline. We just need to evaluate and just worry about my teammate.”

McDaniel also added, “It’s more in line with actually caring about the human being. You’re talking about his career. …bringing up his future is not in the best interest of him… I am going to plead with everybody that does genuinely care that should be the last thing on your mind.”
