Trump Signs Executive Order Banning Men in Women’s Sports

Updated: 6 hours ago

President Trump signed an executive order banning biological men from competing in women’s sports on Wednesday. Deemed the “No Men in Women’s Sports” order, Trump signed the order on National Girls and Women in Sports Day, a day celebrating female athletes and inspiring them to participate in sports which began in 1987.

Trump said, “The radical left has waged an all-out campaign to erase the very concept of biological sex and replace it with a militant transgender ideology… With this executive order, the war on women’s sports is over.”

The Independent Women ambassadors Riley Gaines, Payton McNabb, Paula Scanlan, Sia Liilii, Lauren Miller, Kim Russell, Kaitlynn Wheeler, Linnea Saltz, Lily Mullens and dozens of young girls surrounded Trump in the East Room of the White House in D.C. as he signed the order.

The administration will also be working with the International Olympic Committee ensuring this order is followed.
