On Sunday, the victim in the President Trump attempted assassination at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday, July 13th, has been identified as former fire chief Corey Comperatore.
Afte hearing the shots, Corey moved his wife and daughter to the floor of the bleachers and used his body to shield them. He would take a fatal shot to the head dying a real-life superhero.
The assassination attempt against President Trump would leave Trump and two spectators injured, and Comperatore dead.
Compartore is survived by his wife and two daughters.
President Trump's campaign created a GofundMe page, to raise funds for the shooting victims. As of Sunday morning the page has raised more than $1.4 million.
