The Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) announced its new video streaming platform being released in a phased rollout of Truth+.
When it's ready, iOS users will need to update the app, while Android and web users will not have to.
TMTG began moving it's existing beta testing of its Truth Social linear TV streaming to the Company's new content delivery network (CDN) on Friday.
After the CDN is deployed and tested, a Truth+ streaming icon on the Truth Social platform will let you access the streaming service.
Channels such as news, commentary, weather, and lifestyle and entertainment will be in the initial slate of streaming options. As the streaming rollout continues more news, Christian content and family friendly content will be added.
"First, we created Truth Social to provide a safe harbor for free speech on the Internet. Now, we're establishing a reliable home for great TV content that is neglected by the big corporations or is at risk of cancelation - and we are securing our own tech stack and hardware infrastructure to make our new CDN uncancellable. I look forward, in the near future, to launching many enhancements and adding great, new content to the platform," TMTG CEO Devin Nunes said in a press release.
