Less than 24 hours after the guilty verdict was given, President Donald Trump's campaign raked in a record setting small dollar fundraising haul of almost $40 million.
Minutes after the sham show trials verdict was announced, the website crashed due to the overwhelming amount of traffic to the site. Officials restored the site and went on to have a record shattering day.
Campaign officials announced that approximately 30 percent of the donations came from first time contributors.
"Crooked Joe Biden and the Democrats, with their election interference political witch hunt, have awakened the MAGA movement like never before," the campaign said.
"President Trump and our campaign are immensely grateful for this outpouring of support from patriots across our country. President Trump is fighting to save our nation and November 5th is the day Americans will deliver the real verdict," the statement said.
