Toyota has announced it is recalling approximately 100,000 pickup trucks, and almost 3,500 Lexus LX 600 luxury SUVs due to an issue that could dangerously cause engines to lose power while driving.
Toyota said the vehicles in question are gas powered 2022 and 2023 Tundras and LX600s.
Owners of the potentially impacted cars should start receiving letters by the end of July informing them of the issue and that Toyota is actively working on a fix. Then once a repair plan has been made, customers will then receive instructions to bring the car to a Toyota dealership for a free repair.
