The Oakland A's have signed a binding agreement to purchase land in Las Vegas

The Oakland A's have signed a binding agreement to purchase land in Las Vegas for a new retractable roof ballpark. The team President Dave Kaval confirmed Wednesday night that the team finalized the deal last week to buy the 49-acre site. The stadium will have 30,000-35,000 seat capacity.

This season the A's are just 3-16 so far and have been out scored by 86 runs. This is the worst mark through 19 games since 1899. The average attendance through there 1st 12 home games is just 11,027 for the lowest mark in the majors. So far this season the MLB average is 27,800. They haven't drawn 2 million fans since 2014 which was their only year to do so since 2005.
