The LSU Tigers won its first College World Series since 2009, routing the Florida Gators 18-4 in the deciding game 3 of the series on Monday night. This was the 7th College World Series win for LSU.
After a close extra innings win in game one on Saturday, the Tigers got crushed by the Gators in game two 24-4 on Sunday.
Paul Skenes - considered the best college pitcher in the country was named Most Outstanding Player of the College World Series.
