The wildfires are still blazing through Texas and spreading into Oklahoma, where more than 115,000 acres are burning there. Texas fires are now spanned over 1 million acres and only 3% is contained. The area in flames is bigger than the state of Rhode Island.
One death of an 83-year-old grandmother, Joyce Blankenship, is reported.
Dozens upon dozens of homes are destroyed and evacuations are still underway.
Although snow and/or rain mix if forecasted, it isn’t expecting to bring much relief.
