Texas Sues NCAA Over Transgender Athletes

Ken Paxton, Texas Attorney General is suing the NCAA over misleading fans by advertising sporting events are restricted to female athlete while they are allowing transgender athletes to participate in women’s sports.

Last month a federal court refused to block the San Jose State women’s volleyball team from the Mountain West Conference championship, where it’s alleged of having a transgender player. Several opposing colleges forfeited matches because they didn’t want to play against an alleged biological male; by doing so, it forced them out of the tournament.

Paxton said, “The NCAA is intentionally and knowingly jeopardizing the safety and wellbeing of women by deceptively changing women’s competitions into co-ed competition. When people watch a women’s volleyball game, for example, they expect to see women playing against other women – not biological males pretending to be something they are not. Radical ‘gender theory’ has no place in college sports.”

Paxton wants biological males banned from competing in women’s sports in Texas or to stop the NCAA from marketing events as “women’s” when there are males on a team.
