Texas DPS Remove Columbian Flag From US Soil

Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has taken down a Columbian flag that illegal immigrants planted on a piece of US land this morning because, “It is disrespectful to the state of Texas and to the country,” said, Lieutenant Chris Olivarez. Olivarez said, “When you have illegal immigrants that are crossing unlawfully between ports of entries, and those that are leaving their country out of fear, but yet they proudly display their flag, and in this case, planted a flag on Texas soil is an insult to our state.”

With Border Patrol Agents being pulled for processing and transporting migrants, Texas DPS is going to supplement their absence by placing additional state troopers in areas working private ranches, working corridors that are used for human smuggling, and areas along the river where they see threats to the public safety and national security.

Olivarez is concerned with the train loads of migrants still coming and said, “The problem is that when the federal government continues to incentivize and encourage mass illegal immigration, this is the results that we’re seeing right now.” DPS is focusing on the criminal element while Border Patrol is tied up with the processing the constant flow of illegal migrants coming every day.
