Tesla Cybertruck Recall

The list of safety issues is growing with the latest recall on Tesla’s Cybertruck. Since the electric vehicle was launched last year, this is the fifth recall issued.

Nearly 27,000 Cybertrucks are being recalled due to the rearview camera image being delayed up to 8 seconds when the vehicle is put into reverse. The U.S. federal safety rules require rearview camera images be displayed within 2 seconds.

The delayed image could increase the risk of accidents and poses as safety issues.

The previous four recalls include failing windshield wipers, hard to read warning lights, trim on the edge of the truck bed falling off and the accelerator pedal getting stuck when pressed down.

Tesla has issued a free over the air software updates to resolve the issue.
