The Tennessee Volunteers have won their first NCAA Men's College World Series Championship in school history.
The Volunteers beat the Texas A&M Aggies 6-5 on Monday night coming back after losing game one to take games two and three to capture the title in Omaha.
Tennessee is the first No. 1 national seed to win the NCAA Championship since 1999 when the Miami Hurricanes accomplished the feat.
Volunteers outfielder Dylan Dreiling was named the Most Outstanding Player of the College World Series. He became the only player in tournament history to hit a home run in each of the three games versus the Aggies. Dreiling also made the All-Tournament team.
Teammates Christian Moore, Dean Curley, and Zander Sechrist also made the team.
