Special Election Results

In Florida, Republicans take two deep red seats in the House. Replacing former GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz in the 1st District is Jimmy Patronis beating out Democrat Gay Valimont at about 57%% to 43%.  Patronis said, “I am looking forward to working with (Trump) to help rebuild our military, to close the border, to keep men out of women’s sports, and to get our country back on track, to drop this record high inflation and national debt that is crippling the complete world.”

Replacing former GOP Rep. Michael Waltz (now Trump’s National Security Adviser) in the 6th District is state Sen. Randy Fine prevailing over Democrat Josh Weil at about 56.7%-43%. Fine said, “I have now gotten your vote because President Trump asked you to vote for me, but now it’s incumbent upon me over the next two years to show you that I am worthy of that trust.”

President Trump posted, “BOTH FLORIDA HOUSE SEATS HAVE BEEN WON, BIG, BY THE REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE. THE TRUMP ENDORSEMENT, AS ALWAYS, PROVED FAR GREATER THAN THE DEMOCRATS FORCES OF EVIL. CONGRATULATIONS TO AMERICA!!!”

The Republicans hold 220 seats and Democrats hold 213.

Susan Crawford backed by Democrats won the seat on Wisconsin’s Supreme Court.

Crawford defeated Brad Schimel, a Republican backed by President Trump. Crawford will hold the seat for 10 years and this victory gives liberals a 4-3 advantage.
