Slugfest in Korea

Padres win slugfest in South Korea to split the opening series of the Major League Baseball regular season. 


The San Diego Padres pounded out 17 hits in their 15-11 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers to split the first ever MLB series held in Seoul, South Korea. 


Jake Cronenworth led the way for the Padres going 4 for 4 with 4 RBI's.  Louis Campusano added 3 hits and 2 RBI's. Xander Bogaerts, Fernando Tatis, Tyler Wade and Jackson Merrill each had two hits. Michael King went 3 1/3 innings of relief for the win and Robert Suarez got the save.


Mookie Betts went 4 for 5 with 6 RBI's for the Dodgers. Will Smith added 4 hits and 2 RBI's. Max Muncy, Jason Heyward and Gavin Lux had 2 hits a piece. Yoshiinobu Yamamoto lasted just 1 inning in his Major League debut giving up 5 earned runs on 4 hits and a walk getting the loss.
