The Pittsburgh Pirates have announced that they are calling up Major League Baseball's top pitching prospect Paul Skenes to make his major league debut on Saturday versus the Chicago Cubs.
Skenes was drafted as the first overall pick in the 2023 draft by the Pirates. He is not only MLB's top pitching prospect, he is also the number three prospect overall.
