At his arraignment on Tuesday, Judge Robyn Tarnofsky denied bail to Sean “Diddy” Combs and ordered him to remain in jail until his trial, which is not yet set.
Combs pleaded not guilty to all charges of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution.
When Combs’ attorneys requested $50 million bond, Judge Tarnofsky cited that among other things, Combs’s substance abuse and anger issues were some reasons for denying the bond request. Judge Tarnofsky said there weren’t any conditions to assure her that Combs would appear in court if he were to be released on bond.
According to the indictment, Combs is demanded to forfeit any property and money used to commit the crimes he’s accused of.
If convicted, Combs faces at least 15 years in prison for each charge, with the possibility of a life sentence.
