SCOTUS Rules on Trump's Immunity Case

The United States Supreme Court ruled on Monday, in a 6-3 decision that President Donald Trump has "absolute immunity" from prosecution for "official acts" while he was president. They made clear that unofficial acts are not given immunity.

Chief Justice John Roberts wrote in the opinion...

"Under our constitutional structure of separated powers, the nature of Presidential power entitles a former President to absolute immunity from criminal prosecution for actions within his conclusive and preclusive constitutional authority. And he is entitled to at least presumptive immunity from prosecution for all his official acts."

"The President is not above the law. But Congress may not criminalize the President's conduct in carrying out the responsibilities of the Executive Branch under the Constitution."

"The President therefore may not be prosecuted for exercising his core constitutional powers, and he is entitled at a minimum, to a presumptive immunity from prosecution for all his official acts. That immunity applies equally to all occupants of the Oval Office, regardless of politics, policy, or party."

"In dividing official from unofficial conduct, courts may not inquire into the President's motives. Such an inquiry would risk exposing even the most obvious instances of official conduct to judicial examination on the mere allegation of improper purpose, thereby intruding on Article II interests that immunity seeks to protect. Nor may courts deem an action unofficial merely because it allegedly violates a generally applicable law."

The federal case that the Biden regime appointed special counsel Jack Smith to go after President Trump with, has been delayed while waiting for this Supreme Court's ruling to come down.

President Trump posted on Truth Social...

"BIG WIN FOR OUR CONSTITUTION AND DEMOCRACY. PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!"
