Michael Thomas, the 30 year old New Orleans Saints was arrested and released Friday night on charges of simple battery and criminal mischief after he had a confrontation with a construction worker.
According to police, the incident happened in front of a home under construction near Thomas' home. The worker told police that Thomas was upset about parking in front of his home and began yelling at him and " verbally threatened to harm him." He then picked up a brick and threw it at a window of a truck, but called "little if any" damage. Then knocked the victim's phone from his hand, shoved him and told him he did not want to be recorded, police said. The two time All-Pro (2018 & 2019) is expected to travel with the team to Minnesota and play on Sunday against the Vikings.
