The New York Yankees have transferred first baseman Anthony Rizzo to the 60 day injured list with a fractured forearm.
Rizzo fractured his right forearm in a collision at first baseman with Boston Red Sox reliever Brennan Bernardino who was covering the bag on the play Sunday.
The Yankees have called up first baseman Ben Rice from the minors to replace Rizzo.
