RFK Jr. Considers Ending Campaign & Endorsing Trump

Independent candidate, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is considering ending his campaign and endorsing Donald Trump, according to his vice-presidential pick Nicole Shanahan.

“So you know there’s two options that we’re looking at, and one is staying in, forming that new party… But we run the risk of a Kamala Harris and Walz presidency because we draw votes from Trump, or we walk away right now and join forces with Donald Trump…” Shanahan said on the “Impact Theory” podcast.

Kennedy reportedly met with Trump during the Republican National Convention and they discussed any potential roles Kennedy might play in a Trump White House.

Trump “probably would” consider giving Kennedy a position in his administration if he gets Kennedy’s endorsement and he wins the presidency.

Kennedy has posted on X that he’d be “willing to talk with leaders of any political party to further the goals I have served for 40 years in my career and this campaign.”

RFK scheduled a press conference to address the nation live from Phoenix, AZ at 2 p.m. ET on Friday, August 23.
