The family of Oscar-Winning Actor Alan Arkin announced on Friday that he has passed away at the age of 89. "Our farther was a uniquely talented force of nature, both as an artist and a man. A loving husband, father, grand, and great grandfather, he was adored and will be deeply missed." Arkin's son's said in a statement.
He won an Oscar award for his role in "Little Miss Sunshine". His career spanned 7 decades. He was recently nominated for Emmy, Golden Globe, and SAG awards for his role in the Netflix series "The Kominsky Method".
