After Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment, Redbox’s parent company filed for bankruptcy under Chapter 7 liquidation, Redbox DVD kiosks have shut down.
The popular DVD kiosks were one of the largest DVD rental chains in the country for 22 years.
More than 34,000 kiosks, often located near drug and grocery stores, are closed and about 1,000 people are out of a job.
