The Tampa Bay Rays have signed right-hander Drew Rasmussen to a 2 year, $8.5 million contract extension.
The deal includes a $500,000 signing bonus and an $8 million option for 2027 with a $500,000 buyout.
The Rays are expected to move Rasmussen back into the starting rotation for the 2025 season.
