On Wednesday, the Texas Rangers moved ace Max Scherzer to the 60-day injured list.
Scherzer has been dealing with neurogenic thoracic outlet syndrome in his right arm. He decided to receive a Botox injection in his arm instead of having surgery.
After having offseason back surgery, Scherzer had been experiencing constant pain in his forearm and hand since his April 24th rehab start.
"We've got to figure out a way to manage it. You are talking about nerves - it can screw up your arm for the rest of your life," Scherzer said.
