The Texas Rangers have been unbeatable in this post season so far. First, they swept the Tampa Bay Rays (2-0) in the Wild Card Series. Then they swept the Baltimore Orioles (3-0) in the Division Series, & now they have jumped ahead of the Houston Astros (2-0) after their 5-4 win in Houston last night. Now they head home hoping to close out the series & punch their ticket to the World Series.
The Rangers have won 6 straight road playoff games tying the second longest streak in MLB history. The 1996 New York Yankees with an 8 game streak hold the record.
Game #3 is Wednesday at 8:03pm at Globe Life Field in Arlington when Max Scherzer makes his return to the Rangers rotation facing Christian Javier of the Astros.
