With the New York Rangers 6-5 overtime win over the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday night, the Rangers became the first team to clinch a playoff berth in the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The Rangers clinched their third consecutive playoff berth in front of the home crowd at Madison Square Garden. They are also the first team to reach 100 points this season, making this their third straight season reaching the 100-point mark.
