The Texas Rangers have lost another ace. Brought in at the trade deadline from the Mets, ace Max Scherzer will now miss the rest of the regular season with a right teres major strain (A small muscle that runs along the boarder of the shoulder blade). The Rangers had already lost ace Jacob Degrom, whom they signed in the off-season to try and lead the team to a post season with the high hopes of a World Series title. Now they lose the ace they bought in to replace him.
Scherzer said "In some ways, I was almost relieved that it's not worse. It's not surgery. Talking with doctors, I fully expect to make a full recovery."
