Ramaswamy on Gas Prices Rising

Vivek Ramaswamy, businessman and Republican Presidential candidate has a lot to say about the price of gas in the US and on President Biden canceling the remaining 7 of the Trump Era oil and gas leases in Alaska’s Federal Wildlife Refuge. The National average of gas is currently at $3.80 per gallon, which is a few cents higher than it was a year ago. Some states saw rates of $5-7 per gallon last June. Record breaking heat is a main cause in the slowdown at refineries and stopped them from running at full capacity. The fear of hurricanes hitting refineries in the Gulf of Mexico could also impact supply and prices.

Ramaswamy said, “Drill, frack, burn coal, embrace nuclear, unlock American energy production. Rescind a majority of unconstitutional federal regulations that act like a wet blanket on the US economy. That’s how we fight inflation, it is also how we deliver economic growth.”
