Pistons Tie Another Record

The Detroit Pistons have tied the Philadelphia 76ers with the longest losing streak in NBA history at 28 with their 128-122 overtime loss to the Boston Celtics on Thursday night.

Once again the Pistons gave their fans hope as they opened up a season high 21 point lead in the first half. The second half was a different story. They went into the final two minutes of play trailing 106-100 before Jaden Ivey scored six straight points and Bojan Bogdanovic later put in the tying basket with 4.6 seconds left and sent the game into overtime.

The Pistons 28 straight losses is an NBA record for a single season.

Detroit hosts the Toronto Raptors on Saturday evening at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan at 6pm.
