On This Day In History

On June 21, 1788, the U.S. Constitution was ratified after it had been written in 1787. New Hampshire was the ninth and final necessary state to ratify the Constitution making it the ‘law of the land.’ The Constitution has been in operation since 1789 and is the world’s longest surviving written charter of government.
