On February 13, 2000, the last “Peanuts” comic strip was published in the Sunday newspapers. Charles M. Schulz’s career as a cartoonist began in 1947 publishing “Li’l Folks.” After many rejections, in 1950, Schulz re-named his comic strip to “Peanuts” and the rest is history. Schulz passed away the day before the publication of the last comic appeared in the Sunday newspapers.
