On This Day In History

On April 26th, 1970, future First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump was born.  


Born Melania Knauss in Novo Mesto, Slovenia, Yugoslavia. 


In 1996 she came to America and moved to Manhattan, New York to continue working as a model.  


In 1998 she would meet her future husband Donald Trump. The two would be married on January 22, 2005 in Palm Beach, Florida. 


Melania gained her U.S. citizenship in 2006 and became the first naturalized citizen to become First Lady and only the second Catholic First Lady (Jacqueline Kennedy).
