On April 25th, 1995 actress, dancer Ginger Rogers passed away from a heart attack. 


Born Virginia Katherine McMath on July 16th, 1911 in Independence, Missouri. 


She gained recognition as a Broadway actress after her debut in Girl Crazy. She is best remembered for her on-screen partnership with Fred Astaire in a series of 10 Hollywood musical films.
