On This Day In History

On November 15, 1956, singer Elvis Presley made his movie debut with Love Me Tender. The film was set in Texas following the Civil War and co-starred Richard Egan and Debra Paget. Presley went on to star in 31 films and two concert documentaries. Presley is still today one of the biggest icons in entertainment history.
