On This Day In History

On August 28, 1963, Dr. martin Luther King Jr. delivered his famous “I Have a Dream” speech on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. About 250,000 people attended the March on Washington demanding equal opportunity for African Americans and appeals to end racial segregation and discrimination.
