August 10th, 1977...
On August 10th, 1977, police in New York arrest 24 year old David Berkowitz charging him with being the "Son of Sam" serial killer. He killed six young people and wounded seven others.
Berkowitz claimed that his neighbors black Labrador retriever "Sam" and demons ordered him to commit the murders.
