On This Day In History

On July 31, 1971, the Apollo 15 mission is the first to have a lunar rover. Astronauts David Scott, the commander, Alfred Worden, the module pilot, and James Irwin, the lunar module pilot were the prime crew members in the mission to ride the surface and collect materials on the moon.
