Ohtani's Opt Out Clause

The Los Angeles Dodgers superstar, Shohei Ohtani has a special opt out clause in his contract. He can opt out if either of the two top executives named is no longer with the team at any point during his 10 year contract. 


A person speaking on the condition of anonymity because the full terms of the contract have not been released yet, said that if either Mark Walter is no longer controlling owner or if president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman is no longer with the team during Ohtani's contract, he can opt out of the deal.
