For the first time in Major League Baseball history, Boston Red Sox right fielder Tyler O'Neill hit a home run in his 5th straight Opening Day game.
O'Neill's previous four Opening Day homers came with the St Louis Cardinals.
The Red Sox beat the Seattle Mariners 6-4 on Thursday.
