The National Football League (NFL) has announced it has fined the Detroit Lions and New York Giants $200,000 each for multiple fights that occurred during their joint practices this week.
In July, the league sent a memo to all NFL teams stating that fighting and unprofessional conduct in joint practices would not be tolerated.
