According to NYC Humanitarian Crisis Response Tracker, City officials spent $5 billion the last two fiscal years (2023 & 2024) on services for illegal immigrants, including $2 billion just for housing.
NYC has fed, clothed, and housed almost 212,000 illegals who came through the southern border during the Harris/Biden border crisis.
The money spent on illegals...
$2 billion on services and supplies.
$1.98 billion on housing and rent.
$500 million on food and medical costs
$500 million on IT, administrative and other costs.
NYC has set up more than 200 impromptu shelters to house illegals and has also spent millions on hotels, including the Roosevelt Hotel, Springhill Suites by Marriott, City View Inn, and other hotels for illegals housing.
Democrat Mayor Eric Adams' administration predicts that the cost could more than double, going over $10 billion through the current fiscal year ending June 30th, 2025.
Just in the first six weeks of fiscal year 2025, which started July 1st, New York City has already spent over $112 million.
