Pepsi has lost its runner up spot for being the second best selling soda in America to Dr Pepper.
New data from the Beverage Digest showed that Dr Pepper surpassed Pepsi by a slight margin.
Dr Pepper’s parent company said that introducing new flavors including Strawberries & Cream and Creamy Coconut helped boost them ahead.
Coca Cola still stands alone as the leader with a comfortable margin, nearly doubling Dr Pepper and Pepsi.
