Netflix announced once again that prices on most of its subscription tiers will be raised. The streaming giant reported 19 million new subscribers in the last quarter of 2024, bringing Netflix to 302 million globally.
Netflix has added live boxing matches, WWE Raw events and NFL games to name a few.
Subscribers will see the standard monthly membership without advertisements rise $2.50 going from $15.49 per month to $17.99. It’s been 3 years since Netflix raised the standard tier pricing that provides 2 simultaneous HD streams.
A standard plan with advertisements will go up $1.00 going from $6.99 per month to $7.99. Lastly, the premium plan with 4 simultaneous streams will bump up $2.00 going from $22.99 per month to $24.99. The cost of adding an extra member to a primary account will rise a $1.00 bringing the $7.99 per month charge to $8.99.
These price hikes will go into effect during subscribers next billing cycle.
