On Wednesday, NASCAR announced it is fining Cup Series driver Rickey Stenhouse $75,000 for punching fellow driver Kyle Busch during an altercation after Sunday's All-Star Race.
Busch and Stenhouse bumped cars shortly after the green flag. Stenhouse's car received the most damage due to the incident. He was forced to leave the race after just two laps and parked the damaged vehicle in Kyle Busch's pit stall.
Stenhouse waited for Busch and the two briefly argued before Stenhouse punched Busch causing both teams to confront each other.
Two crew members of the No 47 JTG Daugherty Racing team were suspended for multiple races. Stenhouse's dad, Richard was suspended for violating NASCAR's code of conduct indefinitely.
